Wedding Vendor's Number One Resource!

Gay Bride Diaries

Dearly Beloved,

I’m writing a slight follow-up to my Halloween blog post. Now that my cousin got married on Halloween I can share one of her photos. She looked incredibly gorgeous for the wedding, but I must share the reception look which can only be caused by the fun ghoulish costume theme of a Halloween wedding! And what fun to decorate! There was a gravestone style sign that read: Heather and Jeff laid their single lives to rest October 31st 2015.

Random Wedding thought of the week:

Have you seen the movie on Netflix called, “Jenny’s Wedding?”

Quote from my memoir, “Diary of a Gay, Pregnant Bride”:

“For Donna and Kelly, this ceremony means that they will love each other day by day, taking each one as it comes. That they will be honest and communicate with each other, so unspoken thoughts are not misunderstood. That they will stand beside each other, when one is standing alone.”

Questions to Consider:

When you actually lay your single life to rest, how will you celebrate it? (besides a bachelor or bachelorette party). It’s not a mourning of a death of single life, but a celebration of no longer walking down life’s path alone.

Did you know?

Ancient Romans studied pig entrails to determine the luckiest time to get married.

Good Advice:

It’s always a good idea to ask the officiant what they plan on saying so there are no surprises in words at your ceremony. Of course they do their best to make sure they have the couples’ best intentions in mind, but double check accuracy and ask for a copy before the ceremony.

Pride, Pig entrails, and Parallel paths,

Kelly
