House of Ollichon is the only dress-less (no traditional wedding dresses) collection offering brides and bridesmaids a range of luxury bridal jumpsuits and two-pieces all handmade in London. Whether you are looking for trousers, skirts, dresses, cape, jumpsuits, they have many gorgeous options for the non-traditional bride.
Catering to many lesbian weddings, House of Ollichon has beautiful options tailored to fit a woman’s body and accentuate our curves.
How did you get started designing bridal wedding suits?
I got married in Islington town hall and felt that the traditional dresses were just too fussy for our chilled out, friends-only, pub celebration. Of course, I still wanted something special but there was nothing out there for the relaxed bride that bridged the gap between high street and big bridal. I saw there was a huge gap in the market for something where fashion forward women could push their bridal boundaries so I decided to quit my city job and launch the first and only dress-less bridal collection in the world.
What is the price range for the bridal suits you create and design?
£315 up to £1250
Can you ship globally or just UK?
We ship everywhere!
Where did you get inspiration for your designs?
I looked at all the women in my life and thought ‘what would they like to wear?’. Each design is so individual as they are based on real people. So basically, girl power was my inspiration!
Do you serve mainly the LGBT community?
About 50% of our clients are same-sex brides, we absolutely love double appointments where both brides come along and we choose their outfits all together. It’s wonderful to see them stand together in their chosen pieces and experience that ‘this is the one’ moment together!
Tell us more about your Sample Sales?
House of Ollichon occasionally have a some of their bridal jumpsuits and two pieces in the sample sale. Please note that all sample sale items have differing sizes and are non-refundable but can be very easily altered with your local seamstress/tailor.
Are most of your brides and customers able to re-wear the wedding suits and wedding dresses you create for them?
Absolutely, and some of our brides have sent us pictures of them wearing their top with jeans, or their skirt with a cool vest top or tshirt. One even dyed her jumpsuit so she could wear it to a black tie event. We love and encourage getting updates on how the pieces aren’t sitting in a box getting musty and are being worn again and again!
