Federal Judge John E Jones III ruled in favor of the freedom to marry on May 20th, 2014, granting same-sex couples the freedom to marry.

Obtaining a Marriage License in Pittsburgh

The application for a marriage license in Pittsburgh is available online. Though, both you and your partner will have to visit the Allegheny County office, whether or not you complete the application online. The total fees are $80, payable in cash only. Bring your photo ID with you. You will have to wait 3 days before receiving your marriage license.
