About me:

I believe that wedding photos should be un-boring, un-stuffy, and entirely true to who you actually are. I show up to each wedding with a playful and experimental attitude, plenty of snacks, and some serious optimism. Events aren’t always perfect, but I’ll be damned if I don’t show up with rose tinted glasses anyway (don’t worry— I’ll bring enough optimism to share). If you're looking for someone that feels more like an old friend than a weirdo with a camera, we'll probably be a good fit. :)

1. You trust the process!Sometimes the path to a great photo looks a little funky - and that's part of the fun! You'll absolutely get all the "safe shots" (you walking down the aisle, first kiss, etc), but the real magic is in the unexpected little details. I do my best work, and deliver the best images, when given creative freedom to explore and experiment.
2. You have a sense of humor!Weddings don't always go according to plan, and that's okay! there are always some goofy, cheeky, or unplanned moments that end up in the gallery - and often, I find that these are the images you'll have the most fun looking back on for years to come.
3. You want to vibe with your wedding photographer!A solid relationship often takes good photos and makes them great. I won’t force you to be my best friend (even if I really really want to) - but your photos will be that much better if we can get to know each other before the big day!(Pssst. this is why I like to schedule virtual or in-person chats ahead of time!)
