Mason, Michigan LGBT Wedding Officiant | Chaplain Dave Downing To me religion and belief isn't what you do in a church specifically - it's how you live your life every day and treat friends, family and anyone you come in contact with throughout your time here on Earth. Your ceremony is a reflection and expression of who you are and what the two of you are creating together. This is the day the two of you will forever treasure. It is also the day that before family and friends you commit yourselves to each other. There are no required classes or lectures before I commit to doing a ceremony. My goal is to help you design a ceremony that will reflect what the two of you want to have done and said.
