First Vineyard Winey | LGBT Wedding Venue | Lexington Kentucky
First Vineyard, located in Nicholasville, Kentucky, is the site of the first commercial vineyard and winery in the United States. As such, we have the longest history of hosting vineyard weddings, the first wedding being held here in 1806 when John Francis Dufour married his neighbor, Polly Crutchfield. We have proudly resumed hosting weddings at First Vineyard and hope that you will become a part of that tradition and have your wedding overlooking our beautiful vineyard and the Kentucky River valley. There are many picturesque spots for your wedding and with the addition of our enclosed, air-conditioned pavilion, which features two bathrooms and a small caterer’s kitchen, tent rental is no longer necessary. We have on-site lodging for your out-of-town guests or the wedding party, and offer a large conference room in which the bride and attendants may dress. For more information on lodging, see firstvineyard.net/lodging. First Vineyard’s owners and staff cater to everyone, regardless of race, color, or sexual orientation. We welcome all our guests and will try to make your special day one that you will remember and cherish for years.
We support same-sex weddings and marriage equality because we believe all people are entitled to the same services and should be treated with respect and dignity.
