The Lanam Club is a Boston gay friendly wedding venue that proudly serves the LGBT community and welcomes all same-sex weddings. The Lanam Club, formerly the William Wood Mansion (1916) is a 60 year-old, member-owned private business/dining club with 300 members. The Club is set in a stunning one hundred year-old mansion with beautiful carved wood paneling and ornate plaster ceilings. The Club offers its members a high quality food and beverage operation and uncompromising service. Facilities include two floors of private dining, three acres of landscaped gardens, a comfortable members retreat on the third floor and a large 40 x 40 seasonal tent. From quiet dining to large formal functions and creative member events, the club is an ideal setting for a unique dining experience. The Club is open five days a week (Sundays for Holidays and private parties only), twelve months per year.
