Lori’s style combines organic elements with an industrial edge. Her faceted bands are a great example of this aesthetic, with each facet being made by hand. This means your band is unique and will have a hand-crafted look while maintaining clean lines and a sculptural feel.
Lolide uses recycled metal and uses low or non-toxic processes whenever possible. For example, in production she uses citric acid (vitamin C) to remove firescale and she uses fluoride free flux. She also exclusively uses conflict free, recycled or lab diamonds.
Being a lifelong human rights advocate and supporter of the LGBT community, Lolide donates a portion of annual proceeds to the following charities: Southern Poverty Law Center, Planned Parenthood, National Cancer Research and Plan International (an organization that advances children’s rights and equality for girls) Radiolab, and Seattle Girls School.
Lori herself uses the Human Rights Campaign’s (HRC) Corporate Equality Index in order to only invest in companies with workplaces that promote and support equality for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual and transgender employees.
