Wedding Vendor's Number One Resource!
Paula & Ashley selected us from our listing on Pridezillas. From their very first call from Ohio, we knew that we are a match and we started working together immediately. Ashley’s deep love of Washington, DC and the restrictions due to the pandemic is how they decided to get married in DC and have a great time on their wedding day.

DC Wedding at the Capitol Building | Wedding Stories By Tania

They chose their DC Wedding to take place in front of the Capitol Building because they loved the idea of a long walk down the aisle before they saw each other on their wedding day. The anticipation of them seeing each other for the first time in their wedding dress was endearing and thrilling at the same time. Photographing them coming along either side of the East & West Lawns of the Capitol Building, flanked by their Matrons of Honor, was certainly a goosebump moment. It was the first time they will see each other in the wedding dress they picked out so lovingly.

After their wedding ceremony, we went off to do their wedding portraits at the Lincoln Memorial which was where we also photographed them kissing the sunrise the day after their wedding day. Two of Ashley’s favorite things to do – walk around DC and watch the sunrise. Paula is nearly opposite and her contribution was for their evening. We went off to photograph Paula’s planning for their wedding day inside and around the stunning Willard Continental Hotel before they went off for their intimate diner event.

Their DC Wedding was as perfect as was the early winter day as the sun kissed and the wind flirted with them. Their wedding was officiated with gusto by their friend Max who dressed befittingly for this wonderful occasion. And they were surrounded by their besties and parents making theirs a delightful wedding party under 10. And that is how we ended up photographing this DC lover bride and her bride on one of the chilliest, sunniest, and windiest Washington November day.

Paula and Ashley are not quite done with their wedding festivities. For their 1-year anniversary, they have lined up a big bash in Ohio with lots of friends and their entire family for their wedding reception. We can’t wait to share the rest of their wedding day! Can you imagine how much love and fun will take place that day?
