House of Blues Anaheim is a fantastic venue to host your same sex wedding. Not only an amazing music venue, House of Blues has many private spaces for private events such as weddings, receptions, wedding showers and more. Think confetti canons, fog machines, walking into your wedding reception via a stage, balloon drops and being able to say you held your reception in the Foundation Room. And if you hold your wedding on a Saturday, you and some of your closest guests can come back for Sunday Gospel Brunch.
House of Blues New Anaheim is located in the scenic Anaheim GardenWalk one block east of the Disneyland Resort. We love how House of Blues in general like to be in areas where there are shopping, dining and entertainment within an arms reach of the venue. Anaheim GardenWalk is similarly to Orlando’s Disney Springs.
Anaheim is very LGBT Friendly. For the past 22 years, Disneyland has hosted Gay Days in the beginning of October. During Gay Days, the park is open to the public and family and friends of those celebrating Gay Days all wear red in solidarity. If you are looking at hosting a fall wedding, it would be fun to time your wedding with Gay Days. Get hitched at House of Blues Anaheim and then hit Gay Days with your new husband or wife and a few close friends and relatives to continue the celebration.
Besides Disneyland, Anaheim Hills, a very expensive neighborhood is a gay neighborhood. Anaheim Colony as well is where Disneyland is located is another gay and lesbian neighborhood. This historic district is home to a number of businesses, too.
