Tim and Bret married on August 4, 2012 at the DSM Embassy Suites after meeting on Match.com and dating 1 1/2 years before deciding to tie the knot. On Christmas 2011, they purchased wedding bands and made a promise to each other to dedicate their lives to one another.
Tim’s fondest and most endearing memory from the day was having his son, his niece and his husband all standing up together in unison for their special day.
The couple’s best friend, while not an official wedding planner, helped the couple plan the entire day and used many of his friends and contacts for photos, cake and announcements. They had over 100 friends and family celebrate with them on their special day.
