House of Blues New Orleans is a fantastic venue to host your same sex wedding. Not only an amazing music venue, House of Blues has many private spaces for private events such as weddings, receptions, wedding showers and more. Think confetti canons, fog machines, walking into your wedding reception via a stage, balloon drops and being able to say you held your reception in the Voodoo Room. And if you hold your wedding on a Saturday, you and some of your closest guests can come back for Sunday Gospel Brunch.

House of Blues New Orleans has over 18,000 square feet of space and is a multifaceted entertainment destination with luxurious ambiance, hand-painted murals, and panels. They can accommodate up to 1,500 wedding guests in six distinct indoor rooms. The spacious Restaurant & Bar features contemporary and traditional Southern art and cuisine, and includes an adjacent special events room, private event room and large, multi-story Music Hall. All rooms include high-tech staging, lighting and sound as well as beautifully appointed bars.

You have the option of renting out the entire music hall, the restaurant or the Foundation Room. The Foundation Room is a more intimate space and it holds 60 people seated. They have larger spaces that can be rented as well if your wedding party is above 100 guests. The swanky, dark velvet decor and ornate and eastern inspired artwork with spectacular chandeliers set the mood for an upscale event.
